1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: account details (name, email), API usage data, and memory content stored through the API. We also collect technical data such as IP addresses, request IDs, and API access patterns.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Process and store memory data as requested
  • Generate vector embeddings for semantic search
  • Monitor service health and performance
  • Communicate about your account and the Service
  • Enforce our Terms of Service

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3. API keys are SHA-256 hashed before storage. We use PostgreSQL with pgvector for secure, reliable data storage.

4. Data Retention

Memory data is retained as long as your account is active. Deleted memories are soft-deleted and permanently purged after 30 days. Upon account deletion, all data is removed within 30 days.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the Service (hosting, infrastructure) under strict data processing agreements.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your stored data via the API
  • Export your data at any time
  • Delete your data and account
  • Object to processing of your data
  • Request data portability

7. GDPR Compliance

For users in the European Economic Area, we comply with GDPR requirements including lawful basis for processing, data minimization, and the right to erasure.

8. CCPA Compliance

For California residents, we comply with CCPA requirements. We do not sell personal information. You may request disclosure of collected data or deletion of your data.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy with 30 days notice. Material changes will be communicated via email.
